I love to share good reads, learnings, listens, and reviews with friends and followers. So, thanks for joining me on my 4forFRIDAY BLOG. Each week, the 4forFRIDAYoffers recommended Reads, Listens, Learnings,
and Reviews, for your enjoyment. Thanks Again!
I suggested book one of this series and was so encouraged by it that I bought book two and can wholeheartedly endorse and recommend it as well! If you have not yet seen the Chosen series, I cannot urge you enough to watch this remarkable portrayal of the Life of Jesus and His Followers!
This film isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s a bit tense, a tad reflective, a lot redeeming, and for many, a touch disturbing. But if you like a well-developed story with a kind message hidden within, you’ll love Palmer.
Many of my contemporaries will consider me a heretic for reading/listening to this studious book. Father Richard Rohr is a Franciscan Monk with such a fresh look at Christ in the global sense of how Jesus, the Father, and the Spirit are in all things. If you are brave enough to be challenged, you will dig this read or listen.
Good health starts with good habits, like eating wholesome foods. Tower Garden systems let you easily grow your own fresh, nutrient-rich food without soil. Grow a healthier you year-round. I am so fired up about growing 20 different food sources on my back porch without soil!
A Few One-Liners from Thomas Jefferson
- Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
- Never trouble another for what you can do yourself.
- Never spend your money before you have it.
- Never buy what you do not want because it is cheap; it will be dear to you.
- Pride costs us more than hunger, thirst, and cold.
- We never repent of having eaten too little.
