Each Friday I offer up at least 4 recommended reads, listens, learnings, gadgets or reviews. These are not necessarily faith-based or church-related but they each have encouraged or helped me in some way. I trust that they might do the same for you! Please feel free to leave your comments or share this 4forFRIDAY!
Here is This Week’s 4forFRIDAY December 8, 2017
A Really Good Rib Joint: Fat Matt’s Rib Shack
O My Stars! If you have never been to Fat Matt’s, you are truly missing out on a serious blessing. Jenny and I both had a half-rack with cole slaw and Brunswick Stew. Hallelujah! It’s loud, sassy and delicious. Don’t go there in a white shirt, unless you are ready to ruin it. They have plenty of napkins but bring a hand towel. You’ll thank me for the joy you experience after eating a rib or twelve.
A Solid 2-minute video to help manage your stress this holiday season:
I know you guys never get stressed out, but I do. This short video can help you if you’ll actually jump into these exercises. It’s outside of some of your comfort level to the degree that I am confident that this would help you!
A Restaurant that I introduced to you about a year ago: TEN BISTRO
The reason that they are back in my 4forFRIDAY is a new menu item – The Coffee Burger Man O Man! You need no condiments for this bad boy! It’s a small joint on Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners.
A Wonderful Holiday Event: Atlanta Botanical Gardens Garden Lights
Jenny and I have been to see this event the past three Christmas Seasons, but this year really was awesome. It’s a lot of walking, but so worth it. Get a cup of coffee or hot cider and walk through the Gardens, stopping at the different light shows!
A Quote that I am Pondering from Corrie Ten Boom
“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.”
