Guardians of the Soul

In the movie franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy, there are superheroes that guard and protect our world. In your day to day life, you are the guardian of your soul. That is, to the degree to which you can humanly guard your soul.

I believe, with certainty that when the Divine takes control of our lives, He and He alone can preserve and protect us through this life and into eternity.

But I’m suggesting that we take up that role as Guardian of Our Soul by being proactively and consistently…

  • Choosing to speak with the Ultimate Guardian, Christ the Lord, every single day, without ceasing. This is the shield that could greatly enhance our human super-powers.
  • Choosing to listen to His voice and respond to His direction and will for our lives.
  • Choosing to aggressively grow in wisdom and understanding by spending time in His Word.
  • Choosing to be a part of sharing His message with the folks you love the most.
  • Choosing to lean into His will to the point of surrendering yours to His.

Now we have some SUPER NATURAL POWER at work guarding our souls.
