Each Friday I throw at least four suggested reads, listens, learnings, gadgets, movies, or restaurants out for your consideration. Several hundred folks subscribe, and hundreds more read these on Facebook or Twitter feeds. Regardless of how you receive these recommendations, thanks for joining me! These aren’t doctrinal or theological statements, they are simply suggested items that I’ve enjoyed, or found to be helpful.
Here is today’s 4forFRIDAY – Enjoy!
A Great Gadget: iRing Universal Ring Grip/Stand Holder for any Smart Device.
This little gadget attaches to the back of your phone case and allows you to slip a finger through the back and run, walk, work with your phone in hand without worry of dropping it. It also doubles as a stand for setting your phone at the right angle to view movies or videos. It’s a pretty cool little gizmo!
A Good Read/Watch from Inc.: 5 TED Talks That Will Cure Your Bad Day
Some are passionate, heartfelt mood busters. Some are just funny to lighten your day. Either way or somewhere in the middle, you’ll enjoy these five video Ted Talks.
A Really Good Pizza: Antico Napoletana in The Avalon, Alpharetta, GA
This is some seriously good pizza. Sit in, take out, or enjoy sitting outside on the lawn at Avalon. It can get pretty slammed on the weekends, so allow for a short wait on Friday or Saturday evenings. You’ll enjoy the environment, and you’ll love the pizza!
A Great Read for Married Couples: Your Best Us: Marriage Is Easier Than You Think
I have read dozens and dozens of books on marriage, family, and relationships, but this is the best I’ve read – ever! If your marriage is creeping toward destruction, or if it’s just awesome, this is certain to improve you and your love’s perspective and provide tangible assistance as you walk through the often treacherous minefields of life and love together.
A “Love Quote” that I’m Pondering:
“Love is fed by the imagination, by which we become wiser than we know, better than we feel, nobler than we are: by which we can see life as a whole, by which and by which alone we can understand others in their real and their ideal relation. Only what is fine, and finely conceived can feed love. But anything will feed hate.” — Oscar Wilde
Bonus Recommendation: A New Playlist from Hector On Spotify (The Best Worship Pastor on the Planet!)
