A Really Good Italian Restaurant: Baraonda Restorante and Bar

We went to the Fox to see “Come From Away” (more on that later) and fell in love with this little place on Peachtree, just a block from The Fabulous Fox. Jenny had a risotto and shrimp dish that was so stinking good. I went classic style with a piping hot dish of lasagna. It was as good as I have ever eaten. You’ll be glad I turned you on to Baraonda!

A Great Broadway Show: Come From Away

Jenny and Abby went to see this show at the Fabulous Fox while I played with our granddaughters. They like it so much that Jenny took me back a few nights later to see it. I think it is right up there with Hamilton! The storyline is from the diverted airplanes on 9/11 to the tiny town of Gander, Newfoundland. If you get a chance, go see this show! It will give you a pep in your step and remind you of the kindness available through caring souls. I loved it!

A Daily Read that Took Me a Year to Complete: The Daily Stoic

Most of the 366 days of stoic wisdom is super helpful. A few are just weird, but I am convinced that this pratice of reading about 3 minutes of stoicism has greatly added to my daily personal development plan.

A Great Read from The Denison Forum: The Border Crisis

Jim Denison is one of my favorite authors. He pushes me in some ways and affirms my thought process in other ways. This is a well written and thoughtful article. It’s timely and compassionate. I really hope you read it!

A Really Good Read: The Longevity Paradox

Almost everyone wants to live a long life – but almost nobody actually wants to get old. That’s the paradox at the center of many of our thoughts, feelings and desires about aging. It’s a paradox because the two sentiments seem to contradict each other. After all, living a long life means getting old; we can’t have one without the other, right?

A Quote from Business Leader, Speaker and Author, Peter Drucker

“There is nothing quite so useless, as doing with great efficiency, something that should not be done at all.”
