Most Fridays I enjoy sharing at least four learns, listens, learning, gadget or reviews. Here is this week’s 4forFRIDAY August 17, 2018. Feel free to give me some feedback or suggest one of your favorites HERE.

The Bravest You: Five Steps to Fight Your Biggest Fears, Find Your Passion, and Unlock Your Extraordinary Life by Adam Kirk Smith

I read this book in two nights. It will challenge you and focus you in such a way that you are confident that you can accomplish just about anything once our mind and our fears are freed to get after what matters most! The Bravest You introduces Smith’s unique five-step bravery process that helps us fight the ten biggest fears we all face and attain the success we desire.

A New Album and 2 Songs that are Amazing from Lauren Dagle “Look Up Child”
I can’t stop singing and listening to the first two songs that have dropped on Lauren Dagle’s new album! Grab these and listen to them. You’ll most likely be singing them in your head the rest of the weekend. Look for the song, “You Say” and “Still Rolling Stones”

A Reminder of a GREAT APP that is an EVERYDAY GO-TO for me: The 5 Minute Journal

I have been a huge fan of practicing gratitude in our life. The reasons are plentiful. Science and faith agree that we are a far better person when we are practicing gratitude. Here is my promise as I plead with you to use either the hard-bound tool or the app: When you are grateful for what you have, what you have is always enough!

A Fascinating Series on Prime Video: The Cleaner
This show isn’t for the faint of heart. If you want to see what addiction and the horror of real people drug abuse, watch this show. It’s a tad dark, but it is also redemptive. Inspired by the true story of a real-life “extreme interventionist,” Benjamin Bratt stars as William “The Cleaner” Banks, who after hitting rock- bottom from his own addictions during the birth of his twins, strikes a tentative deal with God. Give it a couple of episodes and you’ll find the ness that addiction can create in family.

And a quote that I am pondering from Thomas Edison:
“Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends, there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing.”
