Celebrate Your Oddity

Hey there, friend! You know what I’ve been thinking about lately? How we need to celebrate our inner oddities. Yes, you heard me right!

When we sit down in counseling, what we’re really doing is digging deep to find the core of who we truly are. And let me tell you, that takes some serious courage. Because when we get up close and personal with ourselves, guess what?

We’re all a little cra-cra! But here’s the beautiful truth – that weirdness isn’t something to hide away. It’s something to celebrate.

I’ve noticed that people who are truly themselves are on a mission that goes beyond just their own lives. They have this unshakable belief that their special “thing” – their unique gift – can make a real difference in people’s lives. And honestly? It’s often that little drop of cra-cra that ensures they actually do make that difference.

As Psalm 139:14 reminds us, “Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.” God created us with our quirks and our unique perspectives for a reason!

So today, I’m encouraging you to embrace that little bit of odd inside you. It’s not a flaw – it’s your superpower. It’s what makes you uniquely qualified to make your special contribution to this world.

And trust me, the world needs exactly what only you can give.

What’s that special “oddity” inside you that’s waiting to be celebrated?

Go in Peace, Chuck
