HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEKEND!
In a recent poll, I read that the vast majority of Americans believe that America is “headed in the wrong direction.” In the same article, I read that one-third of young adults are “not proud to be an American.” In an effort to be wildly clear, I LOVE AMERICA! I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!
I realize that we have problems, and we have some sketchy history, but we are free. We have the opportunity to seek peace and pursue happiness. We may not be fair, completely equal, or even always right…BUT WE ARE A FREE PEOPLE! As for me, I am an American, desirous to instigate better as we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave! —AChuckAllen

A LETTER WE SHOULD ALL WRITE
Future Me is a website that allows you to write a letter to yourself and date it for, say one, or three years from now. I’ve been doing this for several years and find it a great way to compare aspirations to actuality. It’s a way to allow yourself the joy of being reminded of what was important then and what is critical now. And, it’s just fun and thoughtful to engage with.

AN ARTICLE WE SHOULD ALL READ FROM SHAWN BLANC
Another Way to Lead by Example is a thought-provoling read, yet brief and practical for every leader. At what point do you stop doing more, being more, and giving more? At what point do you draw the line to say that you’re doing enough, being enough, and giving enough?
