GO IN PEACE!

Go in Peace by ACHUCKAllen

Every Sunday, I leave our worship gatherings, with a blessing. Over the years, folks have asked me to write it down and send them this simple blessing. Here you go…and then some:

Let the Lord go ahead of you and make a way, make your crooked path straight. This is what He does.

Let the Lord go within you and give you peace, joy, fulfillment, and contentment. Because He is always good and you are always loved.

Let the Lord come behind you. Let him carry you through the days that are difficult. Let Him carry you through the challenge and set you down victoriously, wipe away your tears, kiss you on your forehead, wrap His loving arms around you and hear Him say, my child, I LOVE YOU. Go in Peace!

I read an old proverb yesterday morning that grabbed my soul and shook it up a bit. I trust that you will be encouraged by it as well.

If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person. If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house. If there is harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.”

Jesus shared the secret to success in that old proverb.

He said, “I am the light of the world.” He also states that He had risen from the grave to “bring us peace.”

You can do this! When you intentionally choose to seek peace, you will find it. When you find it, you’ll want to cling to it. When you consistently choose to live in peace, you will change your life, marriage, family, friends and inevitably change your part of the world!
