4forFRIDAY with ACHUCKAllen 10.27.17

Each Friday I offer up at least 4 recommended reads, listens, learnings, gadgets or reviews. These are not necessarily faith-based or church-related but they each have encouraged or helped me in some way. I trust that they might do the same for you! Please feel free to leave your comments or share this 4forFRIDAY!

Today’s 4forFRIDAY are Four Favorites that Many of you commented on…just in case, you missed them.

HE READS TRUTH & SHE READS TRUTH.
These sites and tools are awesome. The reading programs are free online and affordable on your mobile device. I’m finishing Psalms right now. I think you will love the readings, commentaries, and interactive questions. This is my go-to personal reading plan.

A Really Good APP: THINGS (3)
If you have been a part of the 4forFRIDAY nation for more than a month, you know that I’m a seeker of the most effective and efficient way to manage both energy and tasks. I was a THINGS user several years ago but thought the updates and changes made it feel forced and bulky. When the new Things 3 rolled out, it was a game changer. I love the clean and efficient task management tools that allow for a parking lot of “to-do’s” as well as day and time stamped tasks. If you are searching for a great way to manage your tasks via your phone, tablet, and computer this is for you! tactics can be ours as well. This is a must-read for the type “A”  hard charger!

A Great Gadget: ZUS Smart Car Charger with Car Locator
This is an amazing little gadget. It has two USB ports for RAPID CHARGING and by way of a very cool app, it will remember where you park your car and direct you back to where you parked. Like when you rush to catch a plane and return after a three-day trip and try to remember where you parked? Problem solved!

A Really Good Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch: Reveille Cafe in Sugar Hill, Georgia
Fresh food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices and it’s right here in our city! I love this place. It’s my new go-to for breakfast or lunch meetings. I recently enjoyed the Matador ahhhmelet with spicy chorizo sausage, roasted red peppers, pico de gallo & cheddar cheese. You’ll love this place!

A Quote that I  am Pondering from Bob Buford:
“Success means using your knowledge and experience to satisfy yourself.
Significance means using your knowledge.”

Thanks for the app suggestion. I’m currently in love with Wunderlist but Things looks like it can do so much more! Have you checked out Trello? It is my new favorite thing too! http://www.trello.com
