Each week I like to make at least four suggestions on a resource that has been an encouragement to me. I hope it might encourage you, as well. My suggestions aren’t necessarily churched, or spiritually related, but they are good reads, listens, learnings, gadgets, and restaurants. Let me know what you think HERE

A Great Gadget: ZUS Smart Car Charger with Car Locator
This is an amazing little gadget. It has two USB ports for RAPID CHARGING and by way of a very cool app, it will remember where you park your car and direct you back to where you parked. Like when you rush to catch a plane and return after a three-day trip and try to remember where you parked? Problem solved! -
A Great Restaurant in Chamblee: Terra Terroir
Don’t let the shopping center exterior fool you. Once you walk in the door, you are amazed by the outside garden seating, the great service, and cozy decor. Jenny enjoyed the scallops, while I had the best sea bass that I’ve ever eaten. AND THEN – Oh my stars! The single best piece of coconut cake ever! You’ll be glad that you read this recommendation and enjoyed Terra Terroir. -
A really solid listen: Sound & Color from The Alabama Shakes
The unique sound of jazz, blues, Motown, and soul all come together with The Shakes. They are total chill music that I’ve been listened to during my morning walks. They aren’t for everybody, and they can be pretty colorful, but these folks have some serious tunes if you like this genre. -
A really great resource: The New City Catechism: 52 Questions and Answers for Our Hearts and Minds
The New City Catechism is a modern-day resource aimed at reintroducing this ancient method of teaching to Christians today. This short book lays out 52 questions and answers related to God, human nature, sin, Christ, the Holy Spirit, and more. Whether used devotionally, recited orally, or memorized over the course of a year, you will treasure this as a valuable tool for teaching the core doctrines of the Christian faith to children and adults alike.
And a quote I’m pondering from Vice President, Mike Pence: “I try to spend a little bit of time on my knees every day, but it all begins for me with cherishing the dignity, the worth, the value of every human life..”
