Each Friday I offer at least four recommended reads, listens, learnings, gadgets or reviews for your consideration. These aren’t doctrinal dissertations or theological underpinnings, they are a collection of recommended resources or places that I’ve enjoyed. I hope you enjoy them as well! Here is your 4forFRIDAY March 31, 2017.
A Really Good Read from Craig Groeschel: Divine Direction: 7 Decisions That Will Change Your Life
Divine Direction will help you seek wisdom through seven principles. You’ll consider one thing to stop that’s hindering you; how to start a new habit to re-direct your path; where you should stay committed; and when you should go even if it’s easier to stay. The book also includes criteria that will help you feel confident in the right choice, and encourages you with principles for trusting God with your decisions. What story do you want to tell about yourself? God is dedicated to the wonderful plan he’s laid out for you. The achievable and powerful steps in Divine Direction take you there one step at a time, big, or small.
A Really Good Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch: Reveille Cafe in Sugar Hill, Georgia
Fresh food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices and it’s right here in our city! I love this place. It’s my new go-to for breakfast or lunch meetings. I recently enjoyed the Matador ahhh-melet with spicy chorizo sausage, roasted red peppers, pico de gallo & cheddar cheese. You’ll love this place!
A Really Great Worship Album: Elevation Worship; There is a Cloud
I really love this album. Jenny and I have been listening to it every morning. My favorite song? Mighty Cross. You’ll love this album, especially if you like the music at Sugar Hill Church!
A Really, Really Funny Video from Jon Crist: Church Hunters Part 2
Come on! This is so stinkin funny! Join Nick and Molly as they look for a new church. Not feeling the traditional vibe of the church in episode one, episode two features a more trendy church. While it’s a spoof, it might actually be spot on!
